Community & Wellbeing Projects

Positive Impact Sports delivers free, weekly community activity sessions across Rotherham and Halifax for children, young people, families, and adults.

Funded by Sport England’s Movement Fund, our programmes use sport and movement to increase physical activity, support mental wellbeing, and strengthen community connection, particularly in areas with limited access to affordable provision.

What We Deliver

Our community sessions are shaped by local need and may include:

  • Youth Multi-Sports

  • Kids Boxing

  • Family Fitness

  • Flex & Flow Kids Gymnastics

  • Girls’ Football & Community Football

  • Men’s 5-a-side

  • Cooking & Nutrition Sessions

All sessions are inclusive, welcoming, and free to attend, with activities adapted for different ages, abilities, and confidence levels.

Our Approach

We take a community-led approach, listening to local residents and working with partners to deliver activities that matter most. Sessions are delivered by qualified, experienced coaches who create safe, supportive environments where everyone feels welcome.
